My name is Officer Daniel Marguccio. I have been with the Johnstown Police Department since Dec. 1998. and assigned to the Patrol Division.
Prior to coming to the police force , I was employed by Conemaugh Hospital Security Dept. for 18 years. Where I was a supervisor and investigator for 10 of those years.
I have been in the Law Enforcement field since the mid 1980's and have worked as a police officer for the Southmont Boro  and Conemaugh Twp. Cambria Co. Police Departments.

I am a former member of the S.E.R.T. Team long rifle division and have attended a National Tactical Officers Association (N.T.O.A.) training course for Long Rifles

In Feb. 2006 I have received training in Digital Evidence Search & Seizure from Northeast Counterdrug Training Center (NCTC)
In Oct. 2006, I have become one of the first three officers ceritified as a CIT officer in Pennsylvania from the Memphis Police Academy in Memphis,TN.
A CIT Officer or Crisis Intervention Team Officer, has received extensive training in dealing with mentally Ill subjects and how to de-escalate someone in a behavior crisis.
