Juvenile Officer Julie Wagner has been a member of the Johnstown Police Department since 1998. In 2006 she was assigned as the Department's Juvenile Officer and also is member of the bicycle unit
She is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny County Police Academy.
Officer Wagner is also certified School Resource Officer, having successfully completed both the basic and advanced courses. She is a member of the National Association of School Resource Officers.


Officer Wagner is a US Army Veteran, having served 7 years active duty as a Russian Linguist, including training at the Defense Language Institute, Presidio of Monterey, California
She is currently serving as a commissioned officer, US Army Reserves, Chemical Corp.
She is a Captain, and is assigned as the Commander, 431 st Chemical Detachment, Johnstown, PA.
